How to make Tableau work with WordPress

When finishing my Digital Academy Project, I spent too much time figuring out how to make Tableau visualisations work with WordPress. It should have been be easy – Tableau gives you an Embed Code that should work smoothly. Well, it doesn’t.

Hello world!

I’m Sarka – a girl learning coding and other IT stuff.
I’m fascinated by Data, especially when there are human beings and their behaviour either online or in physical world involved. I like to understand people so I find pretty interesting all the social stuff and psychology.
Also, I’m a huge fan of reading (check my book tips down below) and writing.

I studied Marketing Communication & PR at Charles University in Prague and attended a three-month hands-on data camp Digital Academy by Czechitas (those girls do amazing job, check them out).

Interesting Reading

Big Data by Brian Clegg ★★★★☆

Everyone needs to realize how important data is in our day-to-day lives. Great reading also for people who don’t understand computers that much thanks to real life examples. (Popular Science)

The Cyber Effect by Mary Aiken★★★☆☆

Lots of cyber-psychology involved. How we effect our new generation by bringing them up with an iPad in one hand and an iPhone in the other? Sometimes a bit too paranoid and judgmental for my taste but still worth reading. (Psychology, Science)

Ctr Alt Delete by Emma Gannon ★★★★☆

When you need to understand millenials (or you – like me – would like to recall all the weird stuff we did as kids back in 2000), read this book. You’ll laugh with us at us. (Memoir)

Post Truth by Matthew D’Ancona ★★★★☆

Data are not our saviour but when we deliberately ignore them, poor judgement, ill decisions and feelings replacing science become a new norm. This book has everything: Donald Trump, vaccination & autism, Brexit, climate change. (Politics, Philosophy)
